FIRST puts a huge emphasis on cooperation and positive contributions from teams before and during competitions. Coopertition, as it's called, is the display of wholehearted kindness and respect in the face of fierce competitors. This ideal is founded on the concept that teams can, and should, help and cooperate with each other even as they compete. It involves learning from and teaching teammates (or other teams), learning from Mentors, and managing and being managed. Coopertition means always competing, but assisting and enabling others when you can.

As a rookie team, the spirit of Coopertition has played a big part in introducing our team to the FIRST community and helping us get onto our feet! We want to thank the various teams for their unqualified kindness and assistance as we navigate our first season.
