FIRST teams are expensive to run and operate. We rely heavily on the generosity of individuals, small businesses, and the community, to continue its mission to pay competitive registration and travel fees, purchase raw materials, software & technology, tools and other equipment. To effectively bring STEM/STEAM careers, and their real-world applications to life for our team, we must raise a substantial amount of working capital each season. We plan fundraisers, search, apply and submit grant applications, and locate potential sponsors to offset expenses and make large purchases. Our advisors, coaches, and mentors focus on building a bright future for us.
